We are excited to tell you about the newest product in our treatment arsenal: Dermapen Medical. This is a new service we are offering at The London Face and Skin Clinic.

The non-invasive, non-injection treatment is designed to make your skin particularly radiant and youthful, without surgery or extreme after care requirements. To introduce this service, we have a special introductory Dermapen offer in London.

How does Dermapen Medical Work?

Dr Etok will use the derma roller to stimulate blood flow, oxygenation of the skin and the healing process. The micro-needling tool works by creating tiny pinpoints in the skin with multiple tiny needles. When the skin is damaged in this way, the body reacts by triggering the natural production of collagen and elastin, which are essential to youthful looking skin. By opening the skin this way, the body is tricked into healing itself more quickly.

Nothing is injected in the skin in this process, so there’s limited risk of reaction. The process just involves the creation of tiny vertical channels in the skin. There’s little need for major recovery time, and there’s no complicated after care routine to make time for and remember.

Stimulating the skin is key to looking and feeling more youthful, healthy, and confident. When you stimulate the skin, this increases the collagen and elastin content within the tissues, which is a great alternative to a surgical facelift. Micro-needling is a fantastic way to treat a variety of conditions, thanks to this method of stimulation.

There are a variety of benefits that come from using the Dermapen Medical system. Fractional skin rejuvenation is a non-invasive way to reverse a variety of skin issues, including rosacea, stretch marks, hyper pigmentation, even sun damage.  It is also an option to improve the appearance of minor, non-raised scarring.
