Radiesse Rejuvenation
Collagen and Elastin Stimulation Across Broader Areas
What It Is
When Radiesse is diluted with saline and lidocaine, it transforms from a structural filler into a powerful biostimulator. The calcium hydroxylapatite microspheres spread across a wider treatment area, stimulating your skin to produce new collagen and elastin without adding volume. The focus shifts entirely to improving skin quality, firmness, and texture.
What It Does
Skin becomes firmer, tighter, and more resilient as new collagen and elastin develop over the weeks and months following treatment. Fine lines soften, crepey texture improves, and overall skin quality strengthens progressively. The treatment is particularly effective for the neck, decolletage, and hands, where thin skin benefits most from this type of biostimulation.
The Approach
A typical course involves one to two sessions spaced eight to twelve weeks apart. Dr Etok adjusts the dilution ratio based on the treatment area and your skin’s condition, tailoring the approach for optimal biostimulation. Results develop gradually over three to six months and can last 12 to 18 months or longer with maintenance.
Is Radiesse Rejuvenation Right For You?
Radiesse Rejuvenation suits clients who want to improve skin quality and firmness across broader areas without adding volume. Ideal if you are concerned about crepey skin, fine lines, loss of elasticity, or thinning skin on the face, neck, decolletage, or hands. It works particularly well for skin that has lost its structural integrity through ageing or sun damage. This is not a volumising treatment. If your primary concern is restoring lost volume or creating definition, the standard Radiesse approach may be more appropriate. Dr Etok will advise during consultation.
Biostimulation Without Volume, Across Wider Treatment Areas
Dr Etok prepares the diluted Radiesse by combining the product with saline and lidocaine to the appropriate ratio for your treatment area. The diluted solution is then injected superficially using fine needles or a cannula, distributing the calcium hydroxylapatite microspheres evenly across the treatment zone. This broader distribution is what allows the biostimulatory effect to improve skin quality across larger areas rather than adding focal volume.
The procedure takes around 30 to 45 minutes depending on the areas being treated. Mild swelling, redness, or bruising may occur and typically settles within a few days. Results are not immediate in the way undiluted Radiesse provides instant structure. Instead, you will notice gradual improvements in skin firmness, texture, and tightness as new collagen and elastin develop over the following three to six months. The effects can last 12 to 18 months.
