Mesotherapy

Mesotherapy is a technique that uses injections of vitamins, enzymes, hormones, and plant extracts to rejuvenate and tighten skin, as well as remove excess fat.

Michel Pistor, an eminent French doctor, developed the technique in 1952. It was originally used to relieve pain. In the years since, it has gained popularity worldwide and is now used to:

  • Remove fat in areas like the stomach, thighs, buttocks, hips, legs, arms, and face
  • Reduce cellulite
  • Fade wrinkles and lines
  • Tighten loose skin
  • Recontour the body
  • Lighten pigmented skin
  • Treat alopecia
  • As well as treat localized pain

Mesotherapy can be used as a complement to other skincare treatments, including skin peels, Botox injections, and dermal fillers.

Frequently asked Questions

The procedure takes around 45 minutes.   A topical anaesthesia cream is applied beforehand to keep any discomfort to a minimum. The injections can be given at different depths — from 1 to 4 millimeters into your skin — depending on what condition you’re having treated.  We recommend three sessions spaced one month apart and for maintenance three to four per year to get the desired effect.

Mesotherapy is noninvasive, so there usually isn’t any downtime. Patients can return to their normal activities immediately after treatment. Some swelling and bruising may occur at the injection site; these side effects tend to dissipate within the first week after treatment.
